Sonic R features all the characters that are available in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Sonic R has the same environmental openness in the Sonic platformers. There are many colorful 3D graphics. EggRobo has similar abilities to Robotnik but it moves at a slower speed. Metal Knuckles is robotic knuckles can moves faster than the original knuckles. Metal knuckles also have a higher but slower glide. Super Sonic has the fastest speed in the game. Super Sonic can double jump and run on the water surface. Super Sonic can be difficult to controlled by the player due to its speed.
