Name some few famous offline PC games till now?
The games should not require any internet connection while playing and a single person sitting on a PC should be able to play it hence not a multiplayer game

An FPS an RPG, just about anything really.
I am wondering if there’s a good multiplayer offline PC game, but mostly for racing games, like need for speed, that has split screen 2 players for PC. I want to get a game for PC that let’s me play split screen multiplayer, racing, shooting or whatever kind of game. Or are the split screen racing games only for the older versions. If so what’s the newest nfs with split screen. Thanks.
I have a Toshiba Satellite L455-S5975 with Windows 7 Home premium 32 bit, Intel Celeron 900, 2GB DDR2 RAM and 250GB HDD. I am just typing it off a sticker on my laptop. Whenever I play any game I downloaded from a CD onto my computer, it lags like hell. The frames per second are incredibly slow and no in-game options to speed it up (lol). It’s not online multiplayer and no other programs are running besides the game itself. The games specifically are Call of Duty: World at War and Modern Warfare 2. And I got this laptop maybe 5 months ago.
I have a 4-player PS2 pad converter and want to make good use of it!
thanks

Hi guys,
I have a nice spec pc with a graphics card (ATI 512mb 2 x DVI sockets) and wandered if it were at all possible to play pc games over 2 screens connected to 1 pc graphics card. For instance, you can get the cross fire and it will receive 4 wireless controllers + headsets, but are there any games that support offline multiplayer across multiple screens? To explain: 1 screen displaying player 1′s screen, the 2nd displaying player 2′s screen. Do any games give the option to do this? Is it even possible with a pc like mine?
The specs are as follows:
Dell Dimension 8300
Windows XP SP3
Intel Pentium 4 3ghz processor
4gb RAM (installed, recognised by XP: 3.4gb)
2 x internal HDD’s total of 350GB
2 x external HDD’s total of 4-500GB
2 x LG DVD/CD RAM drives
Sapphire Radeon HD 3650 AGP 8x DDR2 512RAM Graphics card:
currenly have such games as:
Far Cry
Halflife
Quake 2
Quake 3
Crysis
Crysis Warhead
Battlefield 2
Any of these support it?
Thanks in advance.
