Wotlk Guide Reviews – Features of Wotlk and Why Wotlk Will Be the Best MMORPG

June 22nd, 2010 No comments

With the success of the last installation of World of Warcraft, Blizzard Entertainment is now preparing to release another fine addition to the ever growing and evolving Warcraft universe: World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King.
Warcraft as a strategy game began with the PS platform in the nineties, followed by the equally successful installation of the PC version which was done away beautifully with two expansion packs. With the expansion pack Frozen Throne for the PC platform, Blizzard Entertainment continues the story with the latest installation for the MMORPG version of the game.
World of Warcraft is a massively multiplayer online role playing game, which integrates the already existing Warcraft universe (environments, story lines, characters) with the perspective of a player. Thousands of player from around the globe can now get in on the action as they battle with each other and formidable worlds that World of Warcraft offers.
Wrath of the Lich King as of now has not been released to the mass market. According to the techs at Blizzard Entertainment, the expansion pack is still undergoing final revamps before final release in the US and most of Europe.
However, this won’t stop us in describing the exciting new features of the game- which are now hot potatoes for people who can’t wait to get their hands on the assuredly collector’s edition WoW: Wrath of the Lich King coming their way.
One of the most notable features of the MMORPG game now is the entrance of a new character class for all ten races available in World of Warcraft: the formidable death knight. The Death Knight as a character in Warcraft lore entered with the installation of Frozen Throne for Warcraft III for the PC platform.
Arthas was the first true Death Knight, under the sway of the Blade that destroyed his soul. The story continues to this day- the death knight character class would be under the dictatorship of the Lich King until a turning point, whereas the death knight class would leave the dark king and join forces with the olden races for the final battle against the King of the Frozen Throne.
To be able to use the new hero class, a player must have two basic things: a Burning Crusade account and a character that has already progressed to at least level 55. Upon reaching level 55 at least, the player can now create a new hero class and the story will continue in that vein accordingly.
According to Blizzard Entertainment, the pinnacle of the expansion of WoW would be a final battle with the Lich King himself- which would be the test of how much the WoW player truly knows.
Another new feature for the Wrath of Lich King is focused on character development again. When a player goes past level 55 and reaches level 70, there will be a veritable cornucopia of new abilities and powers that would be made available to the player.

May 30th, 2010 No comments

If you are looking to get flight simulators for PC users quickly skim through this article to get to know which features you should be looking out for in flight simulator software. There are a good number of flight simulators for sale so this will help you sift through and find the best flight sim for your personal needs.

Of course there is flight simulator freeware and you can take a look at these type of programs to get a feel of using air plane games but this option will not satisfy you in the long term. The graphics are not nearly as realistic and the games are not sophisticated and won’t teach you how to fly. They are purely games.

This article is more about choosing a PC flight simulator that will give you satisfaction at the same time as teaching you how to fly. If you are after free flight simulation games, then you should stop reading now!

So here are 6 significant features that the best flight simulator should have.

1.Flight Sim Aircraft Attention to Detail

Does the flight sim cockpit and aircraft replate a real airplane? Flight Sim Add-ons

2. Online Flight Simulation Game

Can you go online and join other players using the same software and learn from them or fight against them or fly in formation with them?

3. Airplane Sophistication

Is the flight sim download regularly updated and kept up to date with the constant changes and development in the world of aviation? Is the software developed by experts in aircraft technology?

4.Virtual Reality

Does the game look and feel like the real world when you fly the aircraft? Look out for realistic features such as actual airports that resemble the real world, weather and environment scenery add-ons and features.

5. Multiplayer System

Can you connect to air traffic control tower and communicate with other pilots you are flying with. This is a new feature is some of the best flight sim software on the market.

Conclusion

The above 6 points are the main features you should look for. Obviously you will also need to take into account the system requirements but I am sure you already know that.

One other thing that is not essential but a great bonus is if you are able to include flight sim hardware such as peddles, a joystick, switch board and other hardware down the line. Usually games come with an add-on feature that lets you connect the hardware to the game via a USB point.

May 12th, 2010 No comments

If you are looking to play an MMO game you are in luck. There are a wealth of online games that are great to play, easy to get to grips with and a great learning experience. Here are the top 4 MMO games at the moment that you can make part of your gaming life!
Lord of the Rings: This is a huge online game that spans across the magical and fictional land of Tolkien. Based loosely on the books and the films, you can play a number of characters such as hunter, a hobbit, an elf or other such characters. The graphics are outstanding, provided that your PC has a good enough graphics card to deal with the game, and the story lines are second to none.
Lord of the Rings Online is a superb RPG and will enthral fans of Tolkien and people new to both gaming and to Tolkien’s work. Interact with characters from the books and the films such as Aragorn and Gandalf.
Age of Conan Hyborian Adventures: The Age of Conan is a new online mass multiplayer game that is rich in both content and in adventure. In line with many fantasy games that are MMORPG’s, Conan includes many features such as healing, spells, fighting and quests to level your characters up throughout the game. One thing that Conan has that others do not feature as much is blood and gore. You can behead your enemies in frighteningly realistic graphics, stab them repeatedly and kill them brutality. You may also see a few naked or topless people run past you, (in character form of course!).
You start the game as a slave rather than your character of choice, after the opening scenes, you can choose the class and the type of character you want to continue the game with. You can fight your way through the world of Aquilonia, Stygia and also Cimmeria, which are all graphically stunning.
Eve Online: This game has a dedicated following of players, new and old alike. Playing Eve Online allows you as the player to create and build an empire. While this may should normal enough for games, the difference here is that you are doing all of this in space. Expansions are regularly offered to players to further the game play and make it new and exciting on many different levels.
The graphics on Eve Online are fabulous to say the least. The ships have beautiful and intricate detail, the starscapes and the solar systems are incredibly realistic and the span of the universe you are playing in is truly massive.
World of Warcraft: World of Warcraft is a legend and a veteran in the online gaming world. WOW brings lots of great things about online gaming into one place for you to enjoy fully. You have a huge variety of characters classes and races to choose from before you begin your adventure. Once you have done this, you can start your journey into WOW’s world of Azeroth. There is a huge amount of content to get your teeth into on this online game and you will have a huge amount of fun doing so.
